Quality assured by cutting-edge testing
We use a wide range of standard procedures and technologies to inspect defective hardware components and combine this with our expertise in the field of electronics repair. In addition to our expertly trained eyes, we rely on procedures such as automated optical inspection (AOI) and X-ray inspection as well as standardised test routines such as FAKT and ICT. Localising weak points and sources of error is the first step in developing a suitable reconditioning process.
Specialised in semiconductor technology
In the event of a fault, we can recondition bonding processes using different technologies or replace semiconductor components. Our range of services includes PCB assembly (SMD, THT), the processing of single- and multilayer PCBs (BGA) and fully- and semi-automatic wire bonding (thin and thick wire). We use each of these technologies in a targeted manner to restore even complex assemblies to full functionality.

Testing and repair is our core business and our passion
At ECU REPAIR, our focus is on error-specific testing and repair of the respective control unit, which is based on a prior and thorough on-board diagnosis performed on the vehicle in question by the local workshop.
The service is aimed specifically at garages and dealers in the automotive sector. We sell this time-sensitive and case-specific service mainly via our ecu.de internet portal – which covers all processes from quotation and logistics to order documentation.
Value retention through troubleshooting
Once the fault has been verified, the components responsible for the damage are replaced. To ensure maximum reliability, components that very frequently cause the device or individual device functions to fail are replaced prophylactically. Depending on the type of appliance, different and specialised departments are involved in the repair process. In this way, we guarantee the highest possible quality at every stage of the process.
